SunnySide: How To Get To Higashi

It's not easy to get lost in a small town, but finding your way around SunnySide takes patience. While it's a relatively small rural town in Japan, there's a lot to see and do. You can even take the bus into Higashi to buy appliances and get a taste of city life. The problem is trying to find the bus stop, as it's a long way from home.

Unless you've unlocked vehicles, you'll be running a good while to reach the bus stop. Thankfully, we're here to help you figure out how to get to Higashi so you can get everything you need for your new home in SunnySide.

Where To Find The Bus Stop

Within your first month of living in SunnySide, as you progress through the main quest, you'll receive a text from Gabe to meet him in the city. It's unlikely you've made the journey since moving to town, but you'll have to figure it out on your own.

Open your map to get a better idea of where to go. The bus stop is north of your new home–in the opposite direction of town–and it's a long walk. Thankfully, the bus runs all day and night.

There are berry bushes along the route to replenish your stamina!

When you reach the bus stop down the hill, you only need to interact with the stop to catch a ride into the city.

What Can You Do In Higashi?

There's plenty to do in the city! On your first trip with Gabe, you'll unlock the bike and get a brief tour of the area. There are shops throughout where you can buy appliances, shop for clothes, and adopt a pet!

Take your time to browse the different storefronts and restaurants to make a list of items you'll need. You can always come back later to buy items once you have the money you need.

How To Return Home

When you're ready to head home, return to the bus stop. It's the same one you arrived at, but it's easy to pass by if you've been running around all day. You'll find it on the east side of the city.

You can open your map if you get lost! The map of Higashi is much smaller than the SunnySide map.

While the buses run all day, you'll still pass out at 11:45 PM if you're not safe at home. Make sure to keep an eye on the time! Without a vehicle, you'll have to make the trek home on foot. It takes a while to get all the way back up the hill to your farm, so plan ahead!
