In Chapter 12 of The Casting of Frank Stone, titled 'Closing The Noose', the surviving characters from the sarcophagus chamber find themselves in a corridor. At this stage, your past choices are critically important and will determine who survives. The circle is tightening, and all the characters are starting to come together.

What are Augustine's plans? What is the purpose of the filmstrips? Is Sam Green an imposter or a hero? To find out the answers, you need to bring everyone together and watch the Murder Mill's screening. As the game nears its end, all your decisions are crucial and will determine which of the game's multiple endings you will reach.

This chapter starts in 2024 and begins with the surviving characters finding themselves in the corridor after the sarcophagus in Chapter Ten. A mysterious, hooded character had appeared in the room with the sarcophagus, and the characters had escaped.

The escaping characters will find themselves in the corridor, and based on the choices you made in the past, you will control one of them:

If Madi dies while activating the sarcophagus in Chapter 8 and Chris does not wish to return to her time

You will control Chris, and Stan will be with you in the corridor.

If Madi dies while activating the sarcophagus in Chapter 8 and Chris does not wish to return to her time, and Stan dies from being crushed

You will only control Chris, and Chris will be alone in the corridor.

If Madi dies while activating the sarcophagus in Chapter 8 and Chris chooses to return to her time

You will skip the corridor part and directly reach the room with the film showing. Stan will arrive in the room, and you will see events from Linda’s perspective. No one will take the pendant.

If Madi is alive and Chris chooses to return to her time

You will control Madi, and Stan will be with you in the corridor.

If Madi is alive and Chris does not wish to return to her time, but Stan dies from being crushed

You will control Madi, and Chris will be with you in the corridor.

If Madi is alive and Chris does not wish to return to her time, and Stan is alive

You will control Madi,Chris and Stan will be with you in the corridor.

As a result, special dialogues will occur between characters in the corridor part depending on which characters are present. However, these dialogues will not affect the overall progression of the game.

In the corridor, proceed straight, and then the path will split into two. Continue straight and then turn left. This will lead you to the bedroom, and your objective will update to search the area. When you enter the room, you will find a talisman on the drawer to the left of the bed. You are not required to interact with the talisman. So you can decide not to take it.

However, if you do, one of the characters present in the room must take the talisman. The fate will change depending on which character takes the talisman, and this will have an impact in the final chapter.

You will find the ninth Story Teller artifact, the Grimoire Page, on the drawer opposite the bed. Look through its pages, and a key will fall out. Take the key and then interact with the box on the drawer to the left of the gramophone. This is a music box. Use the key you found on the music box to open the hidden compartment in the room.

Enter the hidden compartment and go down the red-lit stairs. If you turn right, you will no longer be able to control any characters and will watch a final cutscene. If you turn left after going down the stairs, you will find a tape recorder.

Playing it will let you listen to Augustine Lieber's disturbing recording about Frank Stone, revealing that Dr. Lieber manipulated him as a psychologist. You will also obtain the ninth Champion artifact, the Session Tape while you listen it. After listening to the tape recorder, if you continue through the corridor, you will find The Twins Rellik on the table to the right.

After finding the Rellik, proceed further to find a trinket box on the right. Inside the box, you will discover the eleventh Trinket, the Sacrificial Knife. After collecting these items, there's nothing else to do.

Head to the other end of the corridor and open the door next to the stairs. The characters in the corridor will enter a glass-paneled room. Then, Linda and Sam will also enter the room.

If Madison is in the room, Linda and Sam will start arguing. Linda will claim that Sam is not the Sam they know and accuse him of being an imposter. Sam will then talk about different timelines. At this point, Madison has two choices: SUPPORTIVE and RESISTANT. Neither option affects the game's progression or relationships.

If Stan has fled to the corridor alone, Linda and Sam will argue before Stan arrives. Linda can choose between DISMISSIVE and DEMANDING options. Choosing DISMISSIVE will decrease your relationship with Sam. When Stan enters the room, Linda has option to slap him. This requires a Quick Time Event, and slapping him changes the fate.

After the events, Sam will ask everyone for the filmstrip, and the characters in the room with the filmstrip will believe they are carrying it. However, they will be gravely mistaken and will witness a scene where Augustine bizarrely takes the filmstrip from them. However, they won’t remember this so far.

If Stan is in the room and Madison is alive, Sam and Stan will argue. Madison will have two dialogue options, EMPATHETIC and OUTRAGED. Neither option changes the fate or affects the characters' relationships. If Chris is in the room, the fate will change.

As a result, the Murder Mill film screening in the room will start, and the chapter will end.
