There's a variety of ores in The Planet Crafter, each with different rarity levels. While some can be found abundantly at the beginning of the game, others are located in distant places. This makes them difficult to reach, even causing hesitation in using them. You don't need such ores much in the early stages of the game.

However, the need for them increases gradually in the mid-stages. As the resources you collect decrease over time, you should consider alternative places and methods. One of these materials you'll need is Uranium. In this guide, we've compiled how and where to find Uranium.

How To Obtain Uranium From Crates

You can encounter Uranium inside the blue-colored crates located in various locations on the map. You can find them outside as well as inside various spaceship wrecks and underground bunkers.

The most important thing to know when obtaining Uranium from crates is that the higher your Terraformation Index, the higher the probability of finding Uranium in crates.

How To Obtain Uranium Through Meteor Events

You don't necessarily have to travel to find Uranium. Remember the meteor showers that constantly fell from the sky at the beginning of the game? These meteors can bring various minerals.

As your Terraformation Index progresses, these meteor showers become less frequent.

To obtain Uranium from meteors, you must first construct a Launch Platform. Your Terraformation Index must reach 345 kTi to build it and you will need the following materials.

After setting up the Launch Platform, there are still things you need to do. Ascend the platform using the yellow ladders. Then, you need to produce an Asteroids Attraction Rocket from the screen above. Here are the materials you need for this rocket:

After doing this, you will see your massive rocket next to the Launch Platform. Then, all you need to do is press the red button on the left side of the screen. This will launch your rocket, and then a meteor shower containing uranium ore will fall.

All you have to do now is be careful not to get hit by the meteors and then collect the Uranium. You can easily distinguish them due to their bright green hue.

How To Obtain Uranium With An Ore Extractor T2

When the pressure level reaches 364.50 mPa, you will be able to build an Ore Extractor T2. Here are the materials you'll need to build it:
