After playing Zenless Zone Zero even for a little while, you'll quickly realize that most of your time in this game will be spent solving puzzles on the TV mechanic. This mechanic essentially simulates you exploring the real world, and you have to get past unique obstacles in every quest.
The Internship Accident is one such side quest, and the main goal here is to clean up a bunch of garbage. However, you can also free up all the Bangboo Merchants in it since most of the extra rewards are locked behind that.
How To Free Every Bangboo Merchant
Once you get into the stage and finish the initial dialogue, you'll see a path going to the right with some merchants at the bottom, but you won't be able to get to these merchants just yet. Simply follow the path on the right and collect the gear coins and Observation Data here. You'll also see an enemy spawn when you get to the Observation Data.
This enemy will follow a specific path, which might seem like it's following you, but it'll eventually break off if you keep going. The path that the enemy takes is random, and you can either try to avoid it or challenge it to enter combat. Either way, you'll have to go up and go to the left here to press a red button.
You'll find the second Observation Data and gear coins for this mission on this path.
Once you press the button, you'll see the path to each Bangboo Merchant open up, but you'll have to spend 500 gear coins for each one. At this point, you'll only have 1,500 coins. The best way to go about this is following these steps:
- Open the path to the top left merchant and free it. You'll be able to get some Dennies at the end of it.
- Second, head over to the top right lock and free the Bangboo inside it. You can then use the conveyor belt here to get to the middle Bangboo.
- Once you get the third Bangboo and claim everything, you can simply go down to the gear lock and it'll open up without spending any coins.
- Head back down and free the bottom left Bangboo. This lock will already be open and will also be the way forward in the quest. Freeing this Bangboo will give you another 500 gear coins.
- You can then use these coins to free the final two Bangboos. When you enter some of these areas, you'll see partially broken brick walls. Make sure to break them since there are rewards hidden behind them.
After freeing every Bangboo, you can head through the portal on the bottom left and continue.
How To Clear The Garbage
As you go through the portal, you'll reach the area below where you'll have to push five containers to the conveyor belt on the left so that they can be disposed of. You can do this by first bringing the containers to the middle row, getting on the right side of them, and pushing them all the way to the left.
If a container is stuck on one of the corner lines or an edge, you can push into them. This will place you on the edge and bring the container out. You can't push multiple containers at the same time, so try not to get them stuck beside each other. After pushing all five containers, you'll have to defeat the enemies spawned and exit the investigation.
After defeating this enemy, you can also use the upper TV to go back to the initial stage in case you missed anything.
