In case you haven’t been paying attention, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is currently having a moment. No, we’re not talking about the original 2005 classic, but rather the 2017 edition that was panned at launch, made a number of changes over the years and is now an underrated gem.
With the game back en vogue, clips of players making ridiculous plays are trending left and right. However, this latest clip takes the cake, as it recreates one of the best Star Wars moments in recent memory — the hallway scene from Rogue One.
As shared on Twitter by Dexerto, u/VerratusDominatu managed to go full Rogue One on the Endor map, wiping out countless enemies to run his kill streak up to 27.
For those who’ve not seen the iconic hallway scene from Rogue One, or those who’d like to relive some of the best Star Wars has to offer, then enjoy the next two minutes and 38 seconds.
Go figure that their Reddit profile is filled with several similar high-level plays, though none are as perfect as them letting Darth Vader do Darth Vader things.
Battlefront 2 Has Never Been More Popular
What originally started out as a player spike attributed to May 4th celebrations has turned into a full-blown revolution. Over a month after Star Wars Day, the game broke the player concurrent count that it had already re-established just a few weeks prior.
Its popularity has led to an ex-developer wanting to «get the gang back together» to help create a Battlefront 3. Not only that, but an actor from Andor also started lobbying EA to start production on a third title.
Thankfully, if you’ve found yourself missing out, the game has routinely gone on sale, and with how many people are continuing to play or jump in, there’s never been a better time to live out your wildest Star Wars fantasies.
