Daniel Larson has pleaded guilty in federal court to a charge tied to a series of online threats, according to newly filed court documents.

The case, filed in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, centers on messages Larson posted across social media between mid-2023 and early 2024.

Prosecutors said the posts included threats to bomb buildings and harm a federal law enforcement officer, with some statements referencing the White House and other locations.

According to documents seen by Dexerto, Larson entered a guilty plea on April 9, 2026, admitting to one count of transmitting threats in interstate commerce. In exchange, the government agreed to dismiss multiple other counts tied to the same conduct.

Under the plea agreement, prosecutors will not oppose a request for a sentence of time served. Larson has been in custody since April 30, 2024.

The agreement states that Larson waived most of his rights to appeal or challenge the conviction and sentence. He also agreed to forfeit property tied to the case, including a mobile phone seized during the investigation.

Court filings detail multiple posts in which Larson made threats across different dates. In one instance, authorities responded to a reported bomb threat at a facility in Colorado, evacuating the building and conducting a full sweep. No explosives were found.

The charge carries a statutory maximum of five years in prison, along with up to three years of supervised release and a potential fine of up to $250,000. Sentencing guidelines in the agreement estimate a range of 27 to 33 months, though the final decision will be made by a judge.

In a separate filing submitted ahead of the plea, Larson confirmed he understood the charges, potential penalties, and the rights he was giving up by pleading guilty, including the right to a jury trial.

The document also states that Larson acknowledged making the decision voluntarily, with no promises outside of the plea agreement, and confirmed that the facts outlined by prosecutors were true.
