December is a busy time in the gaming calendar. By now, all of the biggest games of the year have been released, and companies are looking to end the year on a high note.
That’s the case with Xbox Game Pass, which is not wasting any time and announcing its entire December line-up early.
We’ve already seen some games released on the service, such as the excellent Marvel Cosmic Invasion, and there are plenty of other high-profile releases to follow.
As nice as it is to see big-budget games releasing on Xbox Game Pass, part of the selling point in the subscription service for me is using it to discover hidden gems. December is going to deliver in that regard, as Monster Train 2 will be joining Game Pass Premium this month.
One of the biggest indie snubs at The Game Awards this year, Monster Train 2 is a delightful deckbuilder that, in our eyes, rivals Slay The Spire in terms of gameplay, depth, and enjoyment. With its addition to a new Game Pass tier, hopefully, more people can experience how incredible the game is.
