Twitch streamer Lacy was banned from serving customers through DoorDash, after he used a viewer’s account to pick up and deliver orders, ultimately getting the account deactivated.
Before his stream, Lacy posted on X/Twitter on March 3, stating he had “got a job,” accompanied by a picture of him wearing DoorDash-branded attire.
The creator, who has over 2 million followers on Twitch, made several deliveries, including a McDonald’s order, only to promptly quit the ‘job’ after making just over $4 for the delivery.
“I just went to McDonald’s, drove 10 minutes, drove another 12 minutes to the house and delivered the food to make $4!? I quit.”

Viewer’s DoorDash account deactivated
Later in the stream, Lacy, upon checking the app, noticed that the viewer’s account he had been using had been suspended. Relaying aloud the notice provided, it read:
“Unfortunately, due to consistently low ratings today, we have removed your driver account pursuant to the community guidelines,” before directing him to see the dedicated web page to learn more.

While the notice made no mention of Lacy eating customers’ food as the cause of the account’s deactivation, a subsequent exchange between Lacy and his cameraman referenced the account’s owner, with the latter berating Lacy when he refused to give them $500 in compensation.
“‘Your account has been deactivated’. That poor guy is gonna be broke now. Send him like $250,” Lacy said. When his cameraman suggested Lacy send $500, he responded, “I’m not sending him $500. He knew the risk giving someone his DoorDash account.”

Addressing the claim that Lacy had been eating the food he was delivering to customers, he responded, “Okay, I had a little snack.”
“A little snack? You tried every f**king item,” the cameraman replied.
While his DoorDash shenanigans didn’t result in any punishments from Twitch itself, Lacy has been banned from the platform a total of five times, most recently in June 2025.
