A 388-shot “machine gun” firework is going viral as Americans prepare for the country’s 250th anniversary, with the motorized Roman candles looking more like prop weapons than backyard fireworks.
July 4, 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, with fireworks, concerts, and patriotic events planned across the country.
That has made this year’s Independence Day season a major moment for firework retailers, but one product in particular has been blowing up online thanks to its aggressive design and chaotic rapid-fire display.

Maximum Machine Gun firework goes viral ahead of July 4
A post from fireworks creator TB1Time showed the “Maximum Machine Gun” inside a retail store, captioning the video: “Maximum Machine Gun just in time for America’s 250th.”
The product, officially listed by retailers as Miracle’s M435 or RC-M435 Maximum Machine Gun, is described as a fast-rotating machine gun-style Roman candle barrage. Retail listings say it includes one rotating device and two assorted reloadable candles, with 388 shots and a 55-second duration per reload. It also requires four AA batteries to power the rotating mechanism.
Instead of operating like a traditional handheld Roman candle, the firework spins as it fires, creating a Gatling-gun-style arc of sparks and color. The effects listed by retailers include gold crackling, blue or purple strobes, and blue or purple-to-silver chrysanthemums.
The packaging leans fully into the action-movie presentation, with comic-style artwork, bullet-hole graphics, and the words “Maximum Machine Gun” written across the box. Retailers, including Red Apple Fireworks, list it as a Miracle-branded Roman candle product, starting at $149.99 per unit or $435 per case of 3.
