Residents in Oslo, Norway, have gone viral for selling pizza from their balcony, with tonnes of people turning up to get themselves a slice.
When it comes to pizza, some people will hop on a plane and go get a fresh slice when they’re really feeling it. It’s that one type of food that makes people go wild with their desires, prompting some massively viral videos.
In most cases, pizza lovers have also bought their own pizza ovens at home, so that they don’t have to fly to the south of Italy when they’re craving a Neapolitan pizza. They can simply make it in their garden when the weather allows.
Over in Oslo, Norway, a group of people have been going viral for making pizza on the balcony of their apartment, and then selling it to passers by, with massive queue forming too.
Pizza from a balcony goes viral
The aptly-named PizzaFromBalcony has been running for a little over two years, but has picked up steam on social media in April 2026.
They sell stone-baked pizza from their own small pizza oven, but only do so on limited days, taking to social media to announce when fans will next get the chance to grab some slices.
As noted, they’ve been going viral in April, with some older videos picking up views and comments from people who’ve gone down the rabbit hole and discovered the phenomenon.

One clip in particular has gotten over 3 million views, as they sold 70 pizzas to waiting customers. “We had guests from @pizza_angels_official giving our neighbours a unique pizza experience with their custom-made flour. Also, we had live jazz from some of Norway’s finest musicians. What’s not to like?” they said.

“I need to know where this is in Oslo, please,” one viewer commented. “I’m jealous, in Spain this would be completely unthinkable!” another added. “As an introvert, this is the best business model,” another chimed in.

Many commenters have questioned how the neighbors feel about the operation, but it appears they don’t have too many qualms about it, seeing as they’ve been running since 2024.
