A set of collectible statues depicting Resident Evil hero Leon S. Kennedy have gone viral online due to the manufacturer’s choice of clothing, or lack thereof, for one variant.
Raccoon City Studio and Super Hero Studio have revealed a pair of collectible figures based on Leon’s appearance in the survival horror series, with one particular variant quickly becoming the talking point.
Leon statue includes unexpected swimsuit version
The statues, currently listed for pre-order, feature multiple versions of Leon tied to a chair, ranging from a more traditional outfit suited to his day job of facing down hordes of zombies to a, let’s say, less conventional look that places the former cop in swimwear.
It’s unclear if the collectibles are officially licensed by Capcom, but the website listing makes no mention of the series creator, and its logo doesn’t appear on any promotional art, likely meaning they’re unlicensed.

Product listings confirm the figures are being produced in both 1/4 and 1/6 scale formats, with prices ranging from $46 to $370, depending on the edition.
Considering Leon’s youthful appearance in product shots, his sculpt looks based on how he appeared in the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 4, with this year’s Requiem featuring a far older, grizzled version of the government agent.
As if there weren’t already enough fans thirsting over the character. One can only imagine the fallout if Capcom ever revealed the identity of Leon’s mystery wife.
