After breaking bones in Reacher, Alan Ritchson has shaken hands with Netflix, starring in War Machine. The hunky actor was recently seen in the trailer of a sci-fi war movie. However, not everyone was happy seeing him in camouflage.

An X post expressed thoughts stemming from Ritchson’s previous remarks about Donald Trump and more.

The post read. Supporting the views of the user, many came forth sharing their views about the actor, calling him “woke”.

However, many Ritchson fans came forward to defend the actor. It should be noted that such comments against the star have not been made for the first time.

Many viewers have criticized his political views as well as his public stance he made against the police and their accountability.

Below are the detailed events Ritchson raised his voice that made him a target or gave a lable of being woke.

Alan Ritchson Has Always Had a Strong Voice Leading to Conflicts

The Reacher star is known to stir controversy. However, it should be noted that he has simply spoken in support of the cause, raising a voice against events of police accountability and more.

The actor first landed in trouble because of a photo of him wearing a t-shirt that read,  “Arrest the cops who k**led Breonna Taylor.”  Next, in his interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he stated, “Cops get away with murder all the time, and the fact that we can’t really hold them accountable for their improprieties is disturbing to me.”

He further added

We should completely reform the way that we do it. I mean, you shouldn’t have to spend more time getting an education as a hairstylist than as a cop who’s armed with a deadly weapon.

Alan Ritchson was later targeted by the National Fraternal Order of Police, who called Ritchson a “useless Hollywood actor” in a post on X. Later, the actor responded by calling it an act of “emotional immaturity” on Instagram.

In that same interview, where he confessed to being a devoted Christian, Ritchson also stated,

Trump is a r*pist and a con man. And yet the entire Christian church seems to be treat him like he’s their poster child, and it’s unreal. I don’t understand it.

It should be noted that Ritchson has been a dedicated follower of Christianity, an altar boy, “I was president of the youth group. I was a music minister. We were involved deep. The rules at home followed that same strict tradition.”

However, he was still targeted by the MAGA crowd, even when he came from a part of a strict Christian family.

Alan Ritchson Is a Skullcrusher Soldier in War Machine

Enough of hunting down bad guys and taking on kidnappers and cartels, Alan Ritchson is up against aliens this time. What the first trailer of Netflix’s War Machine provides is a ruthless take on a stranded battalion. They are led by Ritchson’s character, who is brave and tough enough to go headfirst with alien technology that is meant to cause extinction.

Just as the trailer speaks loudly, the machine may have been made to kill, but Ritchson is made for war.

We can expect a fight similar to what we saw in Battleship. With a lost military group that has no communication with the outer world and no ammunition, the question of survival is out of options.
