Journey with a body. Mewgenics is a challenging turn-based tactics game, but it’s also about fun adventures. What could be more fun than carrying a lump of wiggling flesh through an array of fights, each more difficult than the last, in an attempt ot remove a giant wall of flesh? To get the Throbbing Gristle quest item, you will need to play through the game until Guillotina attacks in Act 1. Defeating her will net you the Throbbing Gristle, which is a cursed item. This means that the item has a negative effect when you are carrying it, and this one is a doozy. Guillotina is a boss that will attack you at the house in Act 1, so make sure you return home between runs to potentially have her appear so you can fight her and get this quest item. This negative modifier will come into effect when you first get the Throbbing Gristle, and will cause all units, both enemy and friendly, to die instantly when downed, and any melee kills will generate meat. To use the Throbbing Gristle, you need to bring it to the Wall of Flesh in the Caves, then interact with it. If you have reached the wall before, but not had the Throbbing Gristle with you, you’ll be aware that it just sits there like a bit blubbery mess and doesn’t do anything but block your path. Opening this Wall of Flesh is just one part of the quest to access the Throbbing Domain. For more helpful news and guides, be sure to check out our dedicated Mewgenics page.
