With patience, proper inventory prep, and smart spore clearing, this outpost becomes manageable and extremely rewarding. Just like every other blueprint, this one is a story item. Once you pick it up, it stays in your possession even if you die on the trip back to your base.

How to get Chemicals Blueprint in StarRupture
The Chemicals Blueprint in StarRupture can be located at the Clever Robotics Research Outpost. This outpost is located very far to the east of your starting ship. That is the main point of reference you can use getting around, and this outpost is deep in the eastern part of the world, as shown in the image.
From the place where your ship crashed, head directly east. The exact path you take might be a little different depending on where you built your main base, but if you keep moving east toward the horizon you will eventually get to the right place.
You will know you have found the correct building when you see a large structure with stairs going up into the main part of it. Compared to the smaller outposts, this one seems bigger and more important, and it immediately gives you a feeling of danger.
Look out for blue spores
This outpost is totally overrun with blue spores, and understanding how they work is the single most important thing to know about this place.
If the spores are not destroyed, creatures called Vermin will keep appearing forever. Trying to kill the enemies without taking care of the spores first is a fight you cannot win.
To do this the right way:
- Use your mining tool to break the spores that are stuck to the buildings
- Save your bullets for fighting the actual enemies
- If you are playing co-op, divide the jobs so one player clears the spores while the other player deals with the enemies
If you are playing alone will need to take their time and carefully clear the buildings one after another. Trying to go fast will only cause more problems.
Getting ready before you go in
Before you walk into the outpost, managing what you are carrying is more important than usual. If you arrive with your inventory completely full, you will have to leave good loot behind. This facility consistently contains:
- Dead bodies that have equipment you can use
- Containers that hold useful materials
Ammunition is another thing to think about. Because Vermin can keep appearing very quickly if you do not clear the spores fast, you can use up all your bullets rapidly if you are not careful. Bring more ammunition than you think you will need.
Getting the Chemicals Blueprint in StarRupture
Once you have dealt with the spores on the outside, go inside the building. Begin by walking up the stairs and into the main post. Inside, do the same thing you did outside:
- Clear the spores in every room to stop enemies from spawning inside.
- Collect all the loot as you move through.
After you have cleared a room, turn around and look for a blue chest as shown in the image. Inside it, you will find the Chemicals Blueprint in StarRupture. Just as you might guess, picking up the blueprint causes another large group of Vermin to attack, so do not stop paying attention.
You can either fight and clear this group of enemies or move to a different spot quickly before you leave the area.
Unlocking Chemicals production
After you get back safely to your base, put the Chemicals Blueprint into your Recipe Station. You will also need to add the required materials:
- 600 Synthetic Silicon
- 1,000 Wolfram Powder
- 2,000 Helium-3
- 800 Data Points
