Geiger Counters are a rare item in ARC Raiders, and knowing where to look to find them is only half the battle. Here are the locations you should search. If you’re looking for Geiger Counters in ARC Raiders, one of two things might happen. Either you find it quickly or spend multiple raids coming up with nothing. Knowing where to look to get them will help a ton, and these are the places you should be hunting. Geiger Counters are an Exodus loot item unique to Stella Montis, so your main source of them will be in and around the Assembly loot zone. That said, I found mine in a random drawer in Medical Research, so your mileage may vary. There are two main issues with finding Geiger Counters. The first is Stella Montis itself. The place is a deathtrap if you don’t like ARC Raiders PvP or have even a whiff of high-aggression-based matchmaking. The second issue is where and when you spawn into a round. If you arrive near Medical or Assembly, there’s some chance you’ll be able to loot those areas and find what you’re looking for. Spawn in late or on the other end of the map, and both Medical Research and the Assembly areas will be picked completely clean. That’s especially true if you’re running with a team. I’ve had runs where I arrive at Assembly even five minutes late to find every unlocked container looted and every sealed container breached. As with any rare item, if you do find a Geiger Counter, you should immediately put it in your Safe Pocket. I know it’s a great time to go into Stella with a free loadout and meme about, but doing so provides zero guarantee you make it out with anything. Budget kits — think a Burletta or a Stitcher with a green Loot Augment — will still give you more value for your raids without costing much more time to set up. The most important thing to do when searching for Geiger Counters is not to give up. If you load in late or in a bad position, quickly extracting to reset is a better option than fighting for your life for half an hour. I always bring Raider Hatch keys for that reason.
