Kranodath are one of the rarer small monsters to hunt in Monster Hunter Wilds, but if you know where to find them, getting your hands on their materials is easy. Sometimes, even the highest-tier armor in Monster Hunter Wilds requires a few parts from some silly little guys like the Kranodath. These small monsters are relatively uncommon and only live in a single biome, so finding them can sometimes be frustrating. Here’s where to look and what you get out of hunting them. Kranodath are native only to the Oilwell Basin in Monster Hunter Wilds, and they’re probably the least common small monster that calls the biome their home. Depending on the weather and time of day, you can find them in small numbers in zones 2, 8, and 9. You’ll often find two or three Kranodath mixed among herds of Gelidron, though they sometimes go off and do their own thing, whether that be sleeping, eating, or hanging around. The parts you get from Kranodath, as with any monster in Wilds, depend on the rank you hunt them in. High Rank, which you unlock at the endgame of vanilla Wilds, will have different drops than Low Rank. Here are the drops you can get from Kranodath at both ranks: You can always reset your world back at camp to respawn the Kranodath. Just know that there won’t be many of them to farm.
