Collecting all of the unique Sprites hidden around the Fortnite island is an essential feature in Chapter Seven, season three. Opening Sprite Chests makes this process a lot easier to navigate, but finding them can be tricky.
Although Sprites have a chance of dropping from any chest you encounter, only Sprite Chests are guaranteed to reward you with one, making them highly useful for growing your collection. If you’re struggling to locate them, here’s where to find Sprite Chests in Fortnite.
What do Sprite Chests look like in Fortnite?
Sprite Chests are dark grey, heavy-looking metal chests with some dark pink gem accents and an overall blue glow to them. They look vastly different from all other loot containers you can open around the island, so once you know what you’re looking for, distinguishing them is quite easy.
How to find Sprite Chests in Fortnite
Similar to regular chests and other loot containers, Sprite Chests can be found randomly all around the island. There are many possible spawn spots for them, but not every spawn location will populate a chest in each round. Instead, Sprite Chests have a random chance of appearing at each possible location, which means you can only check the spots where they may appear and hope for the best.

Sprite Chest locations in Fortnite
In total, there are around 30 or so possible spawn locations for Sprite Chests around the entire Fortnite island. You’ll never find this many present within a single match, though, as there’s only a chance one of these chests may appear, similar to how the spawn chances work for standard chests.
