Where to find Synthetic Silicon Blueprint in StarRupture

Synthetic Silicon Blueprint in StarRupture is a major mid-game progression unlock, and getting it is noticeably more dangerous than earlier blueprint runs. StarRupture is currently in early access (released January 6, 2026, published by Creepy Jar), and this blueprint sits deep in hostile territory where preparation matters more than speed.

This guide walks through the route, hazards to expect, and how to safely extract the Synthetic Silicon Blueprint in StarRupture.

How to get Synthetic Silicon Blueprint in StarRupture

You will find the Synthetic Silicon Blueprint in StarRupture at a place called GRO ‘Mythic Cry,’ which is short for Griffith’s Research Outpost. This outpost is located very far to the north of where you start the game. It is one of the most distant buildings on the map, and to reach it, you must travel through several areas full of enemies and make sure your inventory is locked and loaded.

The best way to get there goes through another place called CRO ‘Grey Owl,’ or Claywood’s Research Outpost. You can also check out our beginner’s guide to make your journey easier.

The path to the Mythic Cry Research Outpost

After you get to the Grey Owl outpost, keep going to the northwest. You will enter a section of land that looks very empty and bare. This area has a lot of calcium, so you will begin to see seams of calcium ore sticking out of the ground.

Once you reach those calcium ore seams, change your direction a little and go straight north. You will finally see some glowing orange plants spread out along the side of a hill.

A warning about the orange plants

Do not walk straight through the orange plants. If you walk through them, they will do two things:

  • They will quickly use up your energy.
  • They will make you move extremely slowly.

If creatures called Vermin are chasing you and you are moving slowly because of the plants, fighting them becomes much more difficult than it should be. Do not go through the plants. Stay on open ground and walk around the patches of plants instead.

Getting ready for the Vermin attack

The moment you get to the top of the hill near the Mythic Cry outpost, get ready for a battle. A big group of Vermin always appears in this spot. Before you go any farther, make sure you have the right gear:

  • Use a gun that does more damage than the simple starting pistol.
  • Make sure your grenade is completely charged and ready to use.
  • Have your healing tool ready to go.

If you defeat this wave of enemies before going into the outpost, dealing with everything inside the building will be much easier.

Going inside the Mythic Cry Research Outpost

Once the area outside is safe, walk into the outpost building. Inside, you will see blue, living growths stuck to the walls and machines. You need to destroy these growths. You can destroy them using either:

  • Your pistol
  • Your harvesting tool

If you do not destroy them, Vermin will keep coming back to life in the area. This can cause too many enemies to appear very quickly while you are trying to explore the building.

Locating the Synthetic Silicon Blueprint

After you have destroyed all the blue growths, go to the very back of the research outpost. From there, you need to:

  • Go up the stairs.
  • Take the walkway that goes around the building.
  • Look for a hole in the roof, just like the one in the picture.
  • Jump down through that hole in the roof.

Once you drop down, you will see a blue storage container on the floor right in front of you. Open it to get the Synthetic Silicon Blueprint in StarRupture. Just like when you pick up other blueprints, grabbing this one will cause another large group of Vermin to appear. Be prepared to fight them or to move to a better spot right away.

What the Synthetic Silicon Blueprint in StarRupture is used for

After you get the Synthetic Silicon Blueprint in StarRupture, it lets you learn how to make it at the Furnace. You have to physically take the blueprint back to your Recipe Station and put it in there. You also need to add the required materials:

  • 600 units of Ceramics
  • 800 units of Calcium Powder
  • 2,000 units of Helium
  • 600 Data Points

Only after you put in both the blueprint and all the materials will you be able to craft Synthetic Silicon. This blueprint, like every other blueprint in StarRupture, is a story item. This means it stays in your inventory even if you die on your way back to your base.
