Invincible Season 4 Episode 6 finally revealed the mole in the Coalition of Planets, and they caused the devastating attack on alliance’s home planet, Talescria. There were plenty of theories about who the mole might’ve been, but Episode 6 peels back the mystery in a surprising plot twist.
The last few episodes of the show have really kept audiences on their toes, as Mark got into a brutally gory battle with Invincible vs Conquest 2, before the young hero spent months recovering after having his insides pulled out by the Viltrumite.
The show even pranked the fandom with a third potential return for Conquest, but don’t worry, he really is dead this time.
Thankfully, Mark, Omni-Man, and Oliver made it back to the Coalition of Planets just in time to stop Thragg and the Viltrumites from razing Talescria to the ground. Fans had speculated that characters like Telia, Allen the Alien’s girlfriend, might have been the mole, but the end of Invincible Season 4 Episode 6 finally gave us the plot twist we were waiting for.
Who is the mole in the Coalition of Planets?

Prime Video
It turns out that one of the Data Twins is the mole in the Coalition of Planets. The larger twin has been working for the Viltrum Empire and disabled the planetary defense system, allowing the enemy to attack the Coalition’s headquarters. He’s outed at the end of the episode when Telia discovers the command came from their console – and the skinny Data Twin responds by blasting a hole in his partner’s head in anger.
It doesn’t kill the traitor due to his large brain, but when asked how long he has been betraying the Coalition, he replies: “Years. I knew… I knew they were going to win and I didn’t want to die. They’re still going to win.”

He also tells them that Thragg is returning to the planet Viltrum so that the Empire can regroup for the next phase of the war. Coalition leader (and ex-Viltrumite) Thaedus says that now is the time to attack Thragg while he’s weak, clearly setting up the final two episodes.
The mole in the Coalition of Planets plays out in a similar way in the comics

It should come as no surprise that the plot twist surrounding the mole in Invincible Season 4 is fairly accurate to the way it plays out in the comics.
Shortly after the Viltrumite attack in Invincible #74, Thaedus quickly deduces that one of the Data Twins is responsible for revealing the Coalition’s location to the Empire, and it’s him that chokes the skinny twin, not Allen the Alien. From there, the scene is exactly the same – with the innocent twin shooting the traitor in the head.
The issue ends with the mole telling the Coalition: “It’s too late, you’ve got no hope of winning this war. They said… They… If this battle was lost they were to reconvene on the planet Viltrum to stage a counter-attack. You don’t stand a chance. They’re all going there. All of them. It’s over.”
Essentially he’s saying that if all the Viltrumites unite as one force, the Coalition of Planets won’t be able to defeat them. But we’ll just have to wait and see how the TV series handles that conflict in the final two episodes of Invincible Season 4.
