As you meet more Pokémon and befriend them, they help with your quest to rebuild the world. With that, you can use their abilities to help make their homes and collect materials. This feels more reminiscent of OG Pokémon games, which is perfect for Nintendo lovers like me.
Now, this might sound action-packed, but it’s actually very chill, which is what I love.
You are free to explore and go at the pace you want. As you explore, you need to rebuild the structures to bring the land to its former glory. There are times the game will force you to take a step away while waiting for your Pokémon to finish a task, which is similar to Hello Kitty Island Adventure (one of my favorite cozy games of all time). With time, the flowers will bloom, and I can’t wait to witness that.
It’s a game that isn’t meant to be grinded through in a day. Not one to be sweated over. And in a world where games are getting more and more competitive, it feels like a breath of fresh air.
The Quality of Pokopia’s Multi-Player Capabilities Is Yet to be Determined

One thing I’m not sure about is the multiplayer capabilities.
From what I have seen, this feels like a game that is more comfortable to play alone, like Animal Crossing. Are we going to each other’s towns to get materials, similar to what people used to do on New Horizons? Or are we helping each other rebuild the land? As a solo gamer, that aspect doesn’t bother me too much, but I’m sure friends who like playing with each other might want to know more about this.
Overall, I am excited for Pokémon Pokopia, and I can’t wait to get my hands on the game. Hopefully, it lives up to the expectations in my head.
