A New York creator is drawing criticism after posting a video of his interaction with a grocery store cashier, claiming she appeared to be taking a bad day out on him rather than doing her job. Posted to TikTok by @kellywholetime, the clip opens with the shopper asking for a brown bag before quickly becoming frustrated when the cashier doesn’t immediately respond. “Did you forget you were at work?” he asks. “Can I have a brown bag? A brown bag?“
As the interaction continues, the creator becomes increasingly irritated, repeating that the cashier had “forgot” she was at work. The cashier eventually hands him the bag, prompting the creator to thank her while continuing to question her demeanor.
