ChilledChaos has confirmed he is stepping away from content creation after nearly two decades making content across various platforms.
The creator, whose real name is Anthony DiMarco, shared the news in a YouTube video titled “Thanks for Watching, Internet!” on his YouTube channel, reflecting on his career and explaining why he’s decided to move on.

In the video, ChilledChaos said he began uploading content in 2006, initially sharing homemade videos with friends before transitioning into gameplay videos and building the channel many fans know today.
Now 34, he said the decision comes from wanting to explore life beyond his online persona.
“I think it’s time to see how Anthony grows without Chilled Chaos,” he said. “I think it’s time for me to put down the moniker and see what else I’m good at, see what else I want to do.”
He explained that content creation has been a core part of his identity for years, but wants to focus on personal growth outside of metrics like views and subscribers.
“I want to measure that in like physical growth, in mental growth, in me as a person,” he said.
ChilledChaos said he plans to hold his final streams across a three-day event from May 29 to May 31, marking the end of his regular uploads and live content.
While stepping away from active content creation, he said he intends to launch a 24/7 channel featuring a mix of old and new videos, allowing viewers to revisit content from across his career.

He also emphasized that the decision was not due to his audience, thanking his community for their support over the years.
“This is not your fault,” he said. “I have been blessed to the heavens with such an awesome community.”
ChilledChaos added that he wanted to be transparent about his plans rather than quietly stepping away, noting that viewers had invested their time in his content.
Another popular YouTuber, The Game Historian, confirmed back in April that they were leaving the platform after 15 years of making videos.
