MrBeast challenge winner caught up in Paraguay investigation
According to The Associated Press, Brown was among four Americans detained after authorities discovered 261.6kg of high-THC marijuana after a private aircraft arrived from Miami.
Brown became known to many online after appearing in MrBeast’s ‘100 Pilots Fight For A Private Jet‘ challenge, where he outlasted 99 other pilots to win a Hawker 400XP executive jet. However, he notably declined the jet in favor of a cash prize, instead.

Brown won against 99 other pilots in a MrBeast video, but chose a cash prize rather than a private jet.
Paraguay’s National Anti-Drug Secretariat (SENAD) arrested Brown at a hotel in Asunción a day after agents intercepted a shipment of marijuana that had arrived aboard a private aircraft from Miami, says AP.
Per ABC Color, Brown was identified as the aircraft’s co-pilot. The outlet reported that prosecutors charged three other Americans in connection with the operation, while investigators continued examining Brown’s role in the case.
According to UPI, Brown has since been released at the request of prosecutors, while three other individuals remain in custody.
MercoPress reports that the seizure took place as several suitcases were being unloaded from the aircraft and transferred to a waiting vehicle. Authorities estimated the shipment had a potential value of around $3.6 million.
