How to solve all Riddler Puzzle rooms in Gotham.
Riddler puzzle rooms in Lego Batman: The Legacy of the Dark Knight are a continuation of the variety of Riddler puzzles you can find in Gotham after unlocking them during ‘Riddle Me This’. As the name suggests, these are specific puzzle rooms that you need to work through. All of them are mirror puzzles where you must recreate the reflection in the mirror to complete it. However, some are trickier than others. So, without further ado, here are all Riddler puzzle room solutions in Legacy of the Dark Knight.

The Cauldron North Riddler Puzzle room solution
You can find this puzzle room at the location marked on the map below in Cauldron North:
Enter the room and it’s another mirror puzzle just like the one you solved in Tricorner. This time you need to pay close attention to the details. I recommend using your pulse scan and looking in the mirror to figure out which pieces you need.
In this first room, you need to find and place the following items:
- Candle — Place this in the middle of the table. The candle is in the room to the left, press the red button to gain access here..
- Boombox — Place this on the left-most plinth. This is also in the room to the left, grab the handle from the main room and take it to the broken crank in the left room. Once replaced use the crank to pull the box down. Open it by breaking the lock with a Batarang.
- Lamp — On the table in the main room, move this to the spot nearest the door.
- Teddy — Bookshelf to the right of the main room, move this to the Piano chair.
Old Gotham North Puzzle Room solutions
You can find this puzzle marked on the map below in Old Gotham North:
To solve this puzzle, head into the room to your left first. Face the pile of TVs then look right to the reflection in the mirror. Again, you need to recreate the reflection in the real world.
- Hat — Behind a desk to the far right of the opposite room. Place this in front of the TVs.
- Boombox — This is on a ledge to the left of the TV pile in the mirror room. Place this at the end of the table nearest the mirror.
- Lamp — In the opposite room, look up to the ceiling and use a Batarang on target here. Then build and use the Batclaw to pull the panel down to get the lamp. Place on the last pedestal in the mirror room.
Old Gotham West Puzzle Room solutions
Required: Catwoman
You can find this puzzle room on the border between Old Gotham North and Old Gotham West. We’ve marked it on the map below:
To actually enter this puzzle room you need to use Catwoman’s whip above the door. When you’re inside, there are two mirror puzzles to solve.
Mirror One Solution
This mirror is actually near the ceiling at the top of the stairs in the main mirror room and one that’s easy to miss, but you need to do it before attempting the downstairs mirror.
Go to the upper floor and use UV Vision when prompted to. Then follow the path and use the Explosive Spray. In the next room, use Catwoman to climb the wall and pull the lever. Use your Batclaw on the statue that’s revealed and pick up the handle that appears. Take the handle to the first floor and attach it to the chandelier line. Use this to move the chandelier up as far as it will go to complete this mirror.
Initially I focused on the second mirror downstairs and couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t registering as complete. I then clocked that there was a second mirror at the top of the stairs while searching through the rooms in case I’d missed something else. Once I found this, I realised the chandelier was causing the problem.
Mirror Two Solution
Mirror two is the main mirror in the downstairs portion of this puzzle room, and the one that has the most objects to find in it.
- Candle — Look above the first floor uv point and pull down the wall panel with the Batclaw. Go through the vent and on the right of the room break the debris in the elevator shaft. Put the candle from the table into the shaft and send it downstairs. This will now be in place.
- Boombox — Upstairs on the first floor. Head into the other room and look at the door. To the left of the door use X-Ray vision and follow around to the lever. Pull the lever, grab the boombox from the middle of the room and take downstairs. Place it in the center plug point.
- Lamp — In a glass case opposite the mirror closest to the stairs. Use Catwoman to get into it.
Gotham Village Puzzle Room solutions
Required: Catwoman
You can find this Riddler puzzle room marked on the map below in Gotham Village:
- Statue — Face the mirror and smash the fake statue to the left. Smash coffee table by sofa and build statue. It’s still missing a hat though.
- Hat for statue — Put your back to the mirror and the hat is on the plant opposite you. Smash it to get it. Place on the statue.
- Cane — Go through the vent behind the piano. Use the Batclaw to pull out the panel beneath the painting in the next room. Then use the whip above the painting to power the safe. Turn back to the painting and take the wheel. Place the wheel onto the side of the bed, turn to pull the bed up to get the cane. In the mirror room, put your back to the mirror and look for the bookshelf on the left. Use Catwoman whip above it to turn around and place the cane here.
- Question Mark — Use Catwoman’s whip to reshape the oddly shaped green statue into a question mark.
Newtown Riddler puzzle room solution
Required: Talia
You can find this puzzle room at the location marked below in Newtown:
Task one is actually reaching the puzzle itself. Head into the room then look right, smash the dinosaur here and then build. Use your Batclaw to pull the panel down and then use Talia to get through the opening here. Once through, push the red button by the door and then pull the lever on the right to bring the mirror into the same room as you.
Now, if you’re playing solo like me it’s a lot easier to switch between Batman and Talia for this puzzle. So, for each room in this puzzle I’m going to refer to them as Talia Room and Batman Room — Talia room being the one you needed Talia to reach of course.
There is a hatch between the Talia room and Batman room that you’ll need to use for this puzzle too.
Talia Room Solution
The Talia room must be completed first, you’ll know it’s done when some mini fireworks go off.
- Vase — This is in the hallway just before the wall you need to use Talia to get through, use Batman to put it on the hatch and grab it to place it down.
- Candles — These are on the kitchen island in the same room.
- Teddy — This can be found on the chair of the piano in the next room, use Batman to put it on the hatch then use Talia to set it in place.
At this point the fireworks should go off. Pull the lever to move the mirror to the Batman room now.
Batman Room Solution
- Teddy — Use Talia to take this from the Talia room and place it on the hatch so Batman can grab it.
- Hat — Is on the counter in the Talia room, place this on the Hatch and use Batman to collect it.
- Enemy — Come back to the Batman room as Talia and wait for the enemy behind the fence to be in the middle panel. When they are here, dart them and then this room will be marked as complete.
When the fireworks here go off, return to the Talia room through the now unlocked main door and grab the trophy.
East End Amusement Mile Riddler puzzle room solution
Required: Batgirl
You can find this puzzle room located at the point marked on the map below:
First of all, locate the mirror itself which is in the room directly ahead of you when you walk in. Secondly, walk into the mirror room and head left, hit the red button against the doors here to open the doors. Thirdly, the mirror itself moves — making this a harder puzzle to solve but we’ll get there. Your biggest hint is that the large question marks on the ceiling show you where each part of the puzzle is.
Hack the security panel above the mirror then move it all the way to the left, this is where we’ll start.
Left Puzzle Solution
- Clock — Use Batclaw to pull the panel out underneath the clock, build and then turn the handle so the clock hand is facing three.
- Teddy — Move teddy from the pool table in the other room into the table here, move the hat out of view.
Now move the mirror along to the middle question mark on the ceiling.
Middle Puzzle Solution
- Hat — Put the Hat from the last area in the middle of the table here now.
- Statue — Grab the statue from behind the door in the pool room and place it on the plinth next to the door in the mirror room.
Move the mirror along and smash the boxes on the wall as they will block you.
Right Puzzle Solution
- Serving Hatch — Go upstairs and into the first room on your right, look right, use your Hackarang to hack the serving hatch to pull it down in the mirror room. Go downstairs and take the plate from its pedestal and put it on the open hatch.
- Purple Statue — Go upstairs and then head all the way to the room on the left. Smash the bookcase in here, use the drone to get through the hole and scan the whiteboard in the room. Then, as Batgirl, go into the serving hatch room here and hack the security terminal to open the doors.
- Candles — On the middle table in this room!
If you’ve completed all three correctly from this guide, you’ll be able to get the trophy!
This ended up being one of my favourite puzzle rooms to figure out. I really liked how it evolved as you moved the mirror along to each small puzzle section, and how you had to really explore the rest of the puzzle room (though it felt like a house) to make sure I’d done everything correctly. I admit, Batgirl’s drone did glitch a couple of times but that didn’t cause too many issues.
