Amazon is trying its hand at a little K-Pop Demon Hunters with their upcoming animated TV show, all to showcase their generative AI project.
During an interview, Amazon Prime revealed their dedication to implementing AI into their products, highlighting three different projects as part of their new ‘GenAI Creators Fund’ which aims to “empower human creativity, and allow TV shows and movies that would not have been possible before.”
As part of that, they’re releasing three new animated TV shows that utilize GenAI, and one looks very, very similar to a certain K-Pop Demon Hunters film that went viral last year.
Amazon Prime announces Love, Diana Music Hunter AI show
The show in question is called Love, Diana Music Hunter, and has the following premise:
“Based on pocket.watch creator partner Diana, the most-followed girl on YouTube, a young band of K-pop space-traveling musicians race to Planet Goo, where they must perform a concert to restore the music and save the aliens. Created by Albie Hecht at pocket.watch.”

Now, a group of K-Pop celebrities (one could even say idols) who have to deal with non-human creatures and use their music to try and restore love for the population is pretty familiar. Sure, they might not fight those aliens, so maybe it’s a more PG version of the popular film? Either way, fans of K-Pop Demon Hunters could be getting a new version of Huntrix very soon.
Currently, the extent to which Love, Diana Music Hunter will use AI is yet to be revealed, but we do know the show was given a deadline of five weeks for its pilot, with the aim being “to prove it can be done quickly,” so it’s likely to use some.
The release date for Love, Diana Music Hunter has also not been revealed just yet, but it will be on Amazon Prime.
