Best Ore Mining Base in Palworld
Our pick for the best Ore Mining base location in Palworld 1.0 is by the Desolate Church in Windswept Hills at (70, -405). This area is also close to the Desolate Church fast travel point, making it easy to travel to and from quickly.
We’ve chosen this as a good Ore base because there are multiple Ore deposits here that you can build the Mining base around. More crucially, this is a flat area that’s easy to build on and it’s one you can make use of very early in your adventure. You’ll need to start obtaining Ore as soon as you start exploring, and it’s a material you will need plenty of as your journey develops. Around this specific area you can also find multiple low-level Pal spawns to fill your base out with workers.
At Tier 24 in the Technology Tree you can unlock the Ore Mining Site which you can build and place into any base to consistently obtain Ore. So, if you don’t want to dedicate an entire base from your base limit for Ore, this is a good alternative.
Best Sulfur Mining Base in Palworld
Our pick for one of the best Sulfur mining base locations is on the west side of Mount Obsidian at (-743, -449). This section is between two small lava pools north of the Beach of Everlasting Summer fast travel point, and south of the Alpha Blazamut Ryu spawn location.
Now, you will need some heat resistance to make the most of this base and we recommend using a Flying Mount to search for it initially. Also, because of the lava pools, this may be a smaller base but if you focus it solely on collecting Sulfur it will be a productive one.

Best Pure Quartz Mining Base in Palworld
One of the best Pure Quartz Mining base locations in Palworld 1.0 is east of the Pristine Snowfield in the Astral Mountains at the coordinates (-202, 253), and you will need to make sure you’ve got enough cold resistance to make it work. Now, this area is solely for Pure Quartz as there are few other resources that spawn around it but if you increase your base limit to maximum you can afford to have a base that’s just focused on this one material.
This is a flat, raised area that contains several large Pure Quartz ore deposits that you can build a Mining base around. However, there is usually a Level 30 or above Pal hanging around here that you’ll need to get rid of to be able to build your base — but it’s worth it.
Also, because this area is raised from the surroundings it’s easy to defend from incoming raids and attacks from other Pals.
At Tier 52 in the Technology Tree you can unlock the Pure Quartz Quarry which you can build and place into any base to obtain Pure Quartz regularly.
Best Coal Mining Base in Palworld
One of the best places for a Coal Mining base in Palworld 1.0 is just south-west of the Bamboo Groves Watchtower at (-236, -378). This is a flat, quite secluded, area where you can find multiple Coal Ore deposits alongside a few other handy resources too. Its location on this peak makes it easy to defend, and you can often find a few Relaxaurus wandering by too.
At Tier 42 in the Technology Tree you can unlock the Coal Quarry which you can build and place into any base to obtain Coal regularly.
Best Hexolite Mining Base in Palworld
One of the best Hexolite Mining base locations in Palworld 1.0 is near the Silent Lake at (-1202, -1496) on Feybreak Island. You’ll need to have a lot of cold resistance built up for this area, but once you’ve established the base you can build-in items and apply Pals to keep you warm.
The area near the fast travel point is quite flat and there are multiple Hexolite nodes you can set up your base around. We’ve also chosen this area as, if you put the edge of the cliff behind you, you can set up your base in a way that is easily defendable.
At Tier 61 in the Technology Tree you can unlock the Hexolite Quartz Quarry which you can build and place into any base to obtain Hexolite Quartz regularly.
Best Soralite Mining Base in Palworld
One of the best places for a Soralite base in Palworld 1.0 is near Waterlily Gorge at (-530, -1499) on the Sunreach sky islands. You’ll need a Flying Mount with a lot of stamina to reach here initially and we highly advise activating the Waterlily Gorge fast travel point to make it easier to get back here at any time.
Here you can find multiple spawns of Soralite that you can build the base around. However, we recommend waiting until you’ve got enough resources and strong Pals to build a base here because of the high-level surroundings. That being said, Soralite is the most useful in the later stages of your adventure.
