A grieving mother in Louisville, Kentucky, put out homicide awareness flyers for her daughter and her roommate, two teenagers who were tragically shot dead. She did so outside the business where the alleged killer works, but the owner went outside and tore the flyers down, even though he didn’t have any right to do so.

This is Bruce Mattingly, owner of Team Automotive on Bardstown Road in Louisville, KY. These flyers were not posted on his property. They were placed on public utility poles along the sidewalk. Because he became confrontational, I called the police. Officers advised us that the poles belong to LG&E, not the business, and that we were allowed to post the flyers there. The man Seth Andrew, who admitted to shooting my daughter, Tiara, and Navayah and claimed self-defense works at Team Automotive. As a grieving mother, it sickens me to watch a grown man tear down flyers I worked so hard to create simply to spread awareness and seek justice for my daughter. I’ll let the video speak for itself.

The flyer conflict was shared online by Meredith Manica. She is the daughter of Tiara, who, at 17 years old, sadly lost her life alongside 18-year-old Navayah Dorse during a shooting at their apartment back in 2025. Most of Meredith’s content revolves around remembering her daughter and seeking justice for her death. The clip attached above went viral, garnering 604,700 views, 75,100 likes, and more than 2,700 comments.
According to the Kentucky woman, she was outside Team Automotive, located on Bardstown Road in Louisville. The owner, Bruce Mattingly, can be seen walking around the street outside his shop, tearing down homicide awareness flyers previously put up by Meredith and her family.
“They’re taking down my flyers, trying to get awareness because my daughter was shot in the back of the head,” Meredith said.
The mother detailed in the clip’s description that Mattingly employs a man named Seth Andrew. He is the man accused of killing Tiara Manica and Navayah Dorse back in October 2025. As per WLKY, they were inside their south Louisville home when they were shot dead.
Allegedly, Andrew later admitted to the shooting but claimed self-defense. As of June 2026, no charges have been brought against him. Furthermore, as of April 2026, Meredith hasn’t heard from a detective for months, compounding her grief.
Torn Down Flyers
Therefore, seeing her flyers torn down wasn’t something she would allow to happen without raising her voice. Matttingly is shown approaching Meredith and her family, telling them that they were not allowed to put out the flyers. The mother disagreed, telling him that they were not his poles, as they belong to LG&E.
This, however, wouldn’t stop the Kentucky business owner from continuing his tirade about tearing down flyers. He is shown walking past Meredith, ignoring her, and removing more flyers from other poles around the block.
“If your daughter was murdered, would you be ok with that?” she asked the man, who chose to remain silent. She would then add in the clip’s description, “As a grieving mother, it sickens me to watch a grown man tear down flyers I worked so hard to create simply to spread awareness and seek justice for my daughter.”
Meredith eventually called the police, accusing Mattingly of becoming confrontational. Officers confirmed that she was allowed to post her flyers on the LG&E poles, she said.
Kentucky Locals React
The video sparked many responses, mostly from viewers outraged by the man’s actions. One said, “That’s not normal behavior.” Another one commented, “And he never sold another vehicle.”
Others decided to react by review-bombing Team Automotive and even cancelling future purchases at the business. One wrote, “I am supposed to buy a Corsica there next Friday. I will be cancelling.” Another one added, “Got it. Don’t buy cars from Team Automotive.”
Due to the flyer incident, Meredith and Navayah’s family have set up a GoFundMe to raise funds for a billboard. Tiara and Navayah’s deaths remain under investigation.
