Law By Mike offers to help Skibidi Toilet creator as fans fear he’s been silenced

Law By Mike has weighed in on the growing Skibidi Toilet controversy, telling creator Alexey Gerasimov that he can reach out for legal assistance if his contract prevents him from speaking publicly.

The viral YouTube series was created by Gerasimov, better known online as DaFuq!?Boom, before exploding into one of the biggest internet animation franchises in recent years.

Court records say Gerasimov assigned “all copyright and trademark rights” for Skibidi Toilet to Invisible Narratives in October 2023, with the company later using those rights as part of its legal fight against Dubai-based Next Level Apps Technology.

That lawsuit is separate from the fan backlash against Invisible Narratives, but the two issues have become closely linked within the Skibidi Toilet community. Fans have spent months pushing #BringBoomBack and #LetBoomSpeak after screenshots allegedly showed Gerasimov expressing frustration over his role, payment, and ability to publicly discuss the situation.

YouTube lawyer addresses Skibidi Toilet creator directly

In a new video titled “Skibidi Toilet Scandal Is Getting Scary,” legal YouTuber Law By Mike broke down the court battle between Invisible Narratives and Next Level Apps before turning attention to Gerasimov himself.

“Alexey, if you’re watching this, you may have signed something that prevents you from publicly discussing aspects of your contract,” he said. “But I got good news for you. No one can keep you from talking to a lawyer. Reach out to me. We can see if there’s a legal way to help.”

The video focuses heavily on the question fans have been asking since late 2025: whether Gerasimov can explain what happened behind the scenes without risking a breach-of-contract dispute.

Invisible Narrative confirm Skibidi Toilet creator sold channel but remains heavily involved

Mike also argued that fans are right to care about Gerasimov’s role, even if Invisible Narratives is the legal owner of the assigned rights. “Fans didn’t subscribe to a copyright assignment,” he said. “They subscribed to Alexey’s style, his weird humor, and the world he built one episode at a time.”

Invisible Narratives has previously told Dexerto that Gerasimov remains an executive producer on Skibidi Toilet, is still involved creatively, and continues to earn from the franchise. The company also said he approached them with the decision to sell the channel and step back from the constant workload.

The wider legal fight began after Next Level Apps claimed ownership of Skibidi Toilet-related rights and issued DMCA takedown notices against official videos. Court records show YouTube disabled access to Season 25 after one of those notices and warned that multiple copyright strikes could threaten the channel.

Invisible Narratives sued Next Level in February 2025 and secured a temporary restraining order blocking the company from removing or disabling content on the channel. The court later granted temporary injunctive relief preventing Next Level from creating or distributing Skibidi Toilet content and from trying to remove material from the Boom Channel.

The case is tentatively scheduled for a five-day trial in February 2027.

However, Law By Mike’s video argues that the courtroom fight is only part of the story. The bigger concern for fans is whether Gerasimov has been sidelined from the franchise he created, especially after the DaFuq!?Boom channel was renamed to Skibidi.
