LEGO has revealed the largest set in the company’s history by piece count, recreating Barcelona’s iconic Sagrada Familia basilica in a massive 12,060-piece build.
The new LEGO Architecture set was announced to mark the 100th anniversary of the death of the renowned architect Antoni Gaudí. At 12,060 pieces, the model surpasses the previous record holder, the LEGO Art World Map, by nearly 500 pieces.
Set number 21065 will launch on November 1, 2026, and is available to pre-order now for $799.99 in the US, £649.99 in the UK, and €749.99 in Europe.
The completed model stands more than 24 inches tall and measures 18.5 inches wide by 15 inches deep, making it one of the largest display pieces LEGO has ever produced.
The set recreates the basilica’s intricate architecture, including its towering spires and detailed exterior facades. LEGO has also incorporated a stained-glass window effect designed to reflect the way light passes through the real-world landmark.

LEGO designer says team felt “immense responsibility” recreating landmark
“We felt an immense responsibility to do justice to the Sagrada Família through this design,” Kobe said. “Our goal was to honour Gaudí’s vision with the utmost respect, capturing the rhythm of the basilica’s construction, its extraordinary complexity and ambition, and translating that into an immersive building experience.
LEGO Architecture Designer Rok Žgalin Kobe said the team aimed to faithfully capture one of the world’s most ambitious architectural projects.
“This is not only the largest LEGO set ever, but a model of one of the most ambitious architectural works in the world.”
The Sagrada Familia remains one of Spain’s most recognizable landmarks and has been under construction for more than 140 years, since work first began in 1882.
The launch follows another major LEGO collaboration with Pokemon, as the company recently unveiled its new Pokemon Smart Play sets.
