The clip was posted by TikTok creator Coach Ward (@pward_2), where it has received more than one million views and thousands of comments. Many viewers were shocked by the sight of rodents inside the terminal, while others claimed the problem was nothing new for Boston Logan Airport.

In the video, two mice can be seen running around the gate area as passengers wait for their flights. At one point, one of the rodents appears to run toward the man filming before changing direction. According to Coach Ward, the pair seen in the video were not the only rodents he spotted. He said there were seven mice in total roaming the area while he waited for his flight.

The creator later explained that he moved to a different seat after finishing the recording because he was startled when one of the mice ran in his direction. While the clip only shows two rodents, his claim that there were several more fueled speculation among viewers that the Massachusetts airport could have a larger rodent problem.

Massachusetts Airport Video Shocks Travelers

The video drew a wide range of reactions, with many viewers expressing disgust and disbelief after seeing rodents running through a busy airport terminal. Many joked that they would have screamed, dropped their luggage, or run in the opposite direction if they had been there. Others were equally surprised that the man calmly stayed in his seat long enough to film the encounter. “What terminal so I can avoid it?” one viewer commented.

Not everyone was surprised by the footage, however. Several commenters claimed rodents have been a long-running issue at Boston Logan Airport and shared their own experiences of seeing mice or rats there months or even years earlier. One traveler recalled staying overnight at the airport before a trip to Paris and watching rodents run around the terminal throughout the night, while others said they had recently visited the airport and witnessed similar sightings.

Some viewers argued that rodents are common in large cities and major transportation hubs, saying Boston is far from the only place dealing with the issue. Others pointed to similar experiences at airports in other cities and even hospitals, suggesting the problem is more widespread than many people realize. Still, many felt that seeing multiple rodents openly running through a crowded passenger area suggested something more serious than an occasional mouse wandering inside.

The video also inspired plenty of jokes. Commenters compared the rodents to characters from Ratatouille, made playful airline puns, and joked that the mice were simply greeting travelers arriving in Boston. At the same time, several people with upcoming flights through Logan Airport admitted the video made them nervous and hoped the airport would take care of the problem.

At least the mice in Massachusetts seemed to know exactly where they were going. Hopefully, they weren’t boarding the next flight.
