A new Pokemon x Adidas collaboration appears to have leaked online, giving fans their first look at several sneakers inspired by several iconic Pokemon as part of the franchise’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
Images of the collection began circulating on social media in early August, revealing numerous designs based on Pikachu, Gengar, Charizard, and other popular Pokemon.
As of writing, neither Adidas nor The Pokemon Company has officially announced the collaboration, although it is known that the two companies were planning a collaboration.

The leaked images reveal sneaker designs for Charizard, Gengar, and Pikachu, all of which lean heavily into the ‘mon they’re inspired by. The Charizard sneakers, for example, have wing-shaped flaps sewn onto the outer sides of the shoe, while the Pikachu offering has an almost fine fur-like material finish.
The leak closely matches earlier reports from sneaker outlets that Adidas was preparing a Pokemon collection to celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary in 2026. Check out the leaks via the gallery below.

Neither Adidas nor Pokemon have officially announced the collaborative merch, meaning details such as pricing, release dates and the full lineup remain unconfirmed.
According to Modern Notoriety over on X, other designs include sneakers based on Haunter, Mewtwo, Rayqyaza, Charmander, and Charmeleon. It’s unclear if this is the full line-up, but the leaker believes the collab will officially launch in September 2026.

Pokemon and Adidas have collaborated previously, releasing a collection of footwear and apparel in 2020 inspired by characters including Pikachu.

Likewise, Adidas is far from the only clothing and footwear company to sell official Pokemon merch. In addition to PUMA’s Pikachu-themed basketball shoes, UNIQLO released several limited-time shirts back in March, featuring retro Pokemon art.
