Complete Charm Song DLC Guide

The Charm Song DLC expands Seed of the Dead: Sweet Home with new heroines, weapons, costumes, skills, and post-apocalyptic idol-themed gameplay elements. This guide covers everything included in the DLC activation process, heroine details, new features, item locations, affection systems, weapons, and mini-game strategies.

What’s New in the Charm Song DLC?

The DLC significantly expands the game with both combat-oriented and idol-themed content:

  • Einomaru – aspiring idol, support-oriented heroine.
  • Nagainumaru – combat-oriented revolver user, ideal for mob clearing.
• 5 New Stages
• Idol Mode: Bring music and performances to the apocalypse.

How to Activate Charm Song DLC:

1. Install the DLC and launch the game. (Title screen may still display “Sweet Home”).
2. At your home base, talk to one of the original four heroines.
3. A long cutscene begins, leading to Einomaru’s performance stage.
4. After the concert and dialogue, Einomaru officially joins your team, unlocking all DLC content.

New Heroine: Einomaru

• Voice Actor: Yuu Shimotsuki (霜月 優)
• Role: Idol-in-training, Home Town observer, and backup supporter.
• Theme: Dreams of becoming the #1 idol in a zombie apocalypse.

Einomaru’s NTR Questline

To begin, talk to HIROMI, a self-proclaimed idol producer at the new base area.

New Heroine: Nagainumaru

• Role: Combat-oriented, mob-clearing specialist.
• Weapon: Revolver (high damage, strong with reload speed upgrades).
• Playstyle: Area-of-effect attacks, stamina scaling, evasive jumps. Perfect complement to Ichika.

Unlockable Scenes

• 6 Interactive Scenes total:
  • 4 with the male protagonist
  • 2 with the Minotaur

Minotaur Quest Items

• Stage 1 – Paintings
  • Map 1: Alleys (random spawn)
  • Map 4: School Library (first room on right)

• Idol Costumes: Unlocked for all heroines after completing Act 10. Idol Mode and Lesson Studio also unlock here.

  • Left-Click: Melee attack (cycles pillow artwork of heroines).

Clothes Unlocking

New method: Let monsters break down the door to the Bunny Girl outfit storage room. (Not yet tested.)

Standard methods:

• Bunny Girl, Knight, Combat Suit – All found in ACT8 (latter half) with 3 branch doors; only one opens randomly.
• Bunny Girl suit – Requires finding 3 random buttons and pressing them quickly to open the left room in the central lounge. Need 4 sets (once for each heroine). Buttons don’t always spawn!
• Knight suit – ACT8 cave route; before supply room, climb boxes in a dead end to find glowing item in pipe.
• Combat Suit – ACT8 factory route; jump up scaffolding from rightmost boxes, follow pipe to end.
• Lingerie – ACT7 final battle room; mid-fight a gift-box robot spawns, destroy it.

Mini-Game Tips

Bathing

• Avoid forward/backward movement until last.
• Wash vertically first, then rotate view.
• Smaller heroines (Hikari) are easiest to complete.

Toilet

• Round 1: 3 holds
• Round 2: 4 holds
• Round 3: 5 holds
• Always release immediately when prompt appears.

Hot Springs

• Tilt view slightly down; release only after crossing bucket rim.
• Final bucket: spacebar once is enough.

Darts

• Unlock at Base Lv.7 (new Harem Room).
• Hit both nipples with 2 of 3 darts to unlock poses.
• Game locks X-axis first, then Y-axis.
• High-refresh monitors increase precision.

NTR Missions

Tip: Remove “Item Drop Increase” skill. Collect red glowing points to finish quests faster.

Harem Mode

After updating SOD:SH (Steam version) to Ver. 1.32, if you are playing in R18 mode, don’t forget to also update your R18 Patch.

Harem Mode Options:

• To activate a Harem Scene for a chosen waifu, you must first complete at least one Boob Darts mini-game with her.
• Select your waifu to play Boob Darts.

Boob Darts Mini-Game:

• Simple mechanic: lock horizontal axis, then vertical, to land on target.
• Kirara is considered the hardest to aim for (especially her right side).
• Perfect example: “Completed (2/2 Perfect).”

Harem Scene Menu:

• Once you’ve cleared the mini-game, that waifu is added to your Harem Scene mode.
• When all 4 waifus’ mini-games are completed, their sequence affects positioning and poses in the harem scene.

Achievements

• “Something Moving” – Unlocked in patch 1.04R by attacking breasts with weapons.
• More DLC-specific achievements pending discovery.

• If the game fails after updates, reinstall and reapply patches.
• No official uncensor patch exists. Avoid unofficial mods (risk of instability).
