A Texas man vowed he’d post every single day on his TikTok platform until he’s refunded by DoorDash. This comes after he paid for express delivery and left a tip, only to never receive his order; in fact, the DoorDasher canceled his order!
According to Mariotothetop, this wouldn’t be the first time DoorDash stiffed him. What was particularly frustrating about this incident, which he posted on TikTok, was when his first DoorDash order took too long. “I ordered my food on DoorDash two hours ago.” He even paid for express service and left a tip.

After waiting for so long, Mario’s order was finally updated. Unfortunately, it was canceled by the DoorDasher. So Mario tries again with a new driver, who does get to the restaurant only to find out they couldn’t pick up his order. Relayed through the DoorDasher, Mario learns that the restaurant already gave his order out to the first driver. In other words, his original driver stole the food and canceled the order.
Luckily, Mario’s money is refunded and he places the order again. The DoorDasher gets his food and makes their way to him. When she got there, however, he said she went all the way to the opposite end of the building and couldn’t find him. He tried to guide her there but she ended up driving away from his apartment and onto the highway, blaming the GPS for giving her bad directions.
Giving up, Mario’s new driver tells him, “I’m canceling your order. You can contact DoorDash.” However, she marked his order as “complete” as if it was delivered. In the end, Mario received only a portion of the money he spent on the food he never received—$6 back for a nearly $30 order.
Mario managed to contact customer service, but was allegedly told, “There’s nothing we can do about it.” His entire refund was denied. How can DoorDash let two different DoorDashers “steal his food” and not return his money, he asks his audience.

Not only did numerous commenters have their own bad experience with DoorDash, they swore UberEats was a better service. Others shared that service has been so bad, they canceled their subscriptions.
“This is why I go to pick up my food myself, cheaper and less stressful,” a TikTok viewer wrote, garnering a few hundred Likes.
One commenter argued it was about tipping culture. “This is proof tipping doesn’t matter,” they wrote. In the thread, another pushed back, saying it “has nothing to do with tipping. Those are thieves!!!” To avoid this, people suggested tipping after they got their order, not before.
Another viewer offered a possible reason for the long wait times. “Door Dash is allowing Dashers to pick up too many orders…” and shared they were one of seven orders the Dasher was delivering.
In an update video, it appears Mario was able to get through to DoorDash after calling them out. Even though he spoke with representatives, they continued telling him there was “nothing they could do about it.” He’s still awaiting answers on why this happened to him and whether or not he’ll be seeing his money.
