Dino nuggies have been made into a cute plushie set that you can heat up in the microwave, and they’re absolutely adorable.
Dinosaur nuggets are the things of childhood dreams, aren’t they? There’s something so satisfying about eating a miniature version of a little T-rex or recreating a bloody scene out of Jurassic Park with enough ketchup to drown a Triceratops in.
Walking down the frozen aisle and seeing these tasty treats still brings back distant memories of THE best post-school dinners.
While nothing is stopping any of us from picking up a bag of these bad boys and whacking them in the oven and indulging in some sweet, sweet nostalgia, a dino-themed merch maker is taking things a step further by releasing dino nuggie plushies that you can warm up.
Dino nugget plushies can be heated up
The cute collection consists of three different dinosaurs inspired by the iconic frozen food shapes: Dino Nugget Rex, Dino Nugget Stego, and Dino Nugget Bronto. While they’re all pretty adorable in their own right, I’m not sure how to feel about my stomach rumbling while looking at them.
No matter how hungry you feel during your snuggling sessions, you can’t eat your dino nuggie companion, but you can heat them up (mixed signals, I know). In fact, each toy’s 15cm size (six inches) makes them the perfect pocket warmer or hand warmer for those colder months.
So, how do you heat them without causing another mass extinction event, I hear you cry? Well, unlike regular plush toys, each dino nugget is filled with linseeds that hold heat after being warmed in a microwave or oven.

TherbisStudio recommends using a microwave on the defrost setting for between two and four minutes, stopping every minute or two to shake the plush so the heat spreads evenly. They can also be heated in an oven at between 50°C and 80°C for up to 10 minutes, if you wish to go really old-school with your dino nugget cooking.
Each nugget will set you back €15.95 ($18.19), or you can purchase the full set for €39.95 ($45.57). The bundle even comes in a little cardboard snack box, but you’ll need to pick up some ketchup separately.
Dino nugget plushies certainly weren’t on my bingo list of adorable merch for 2026, but they’re not the only ones to stand out. So far, there have been life-size Pokemon plushies like Lilligant, giant Umamusume horse girls, and mighty Marin Kitagawa dolls.
