Twitch streamer walks 340 miles to TwitchCon only to be denied entry

A Twitch streamer who walked hundreds of kilometers to TwitchCon Europe 2026 has claimed he was denied entry after his ticket was suddenly refunded just before the event.

KumaMonster is an IRL Twitch streamer known for turning long-distance walks into major live-streamed events. Rather than flying or taking a train to conventions, he has built a community around extreme walking challenges, including previous treks across Europe and Japan.

His latest journey, dubbed Road to TwitchCon, saw him walk roughly 550km, or 340 miles, to TwitchCon Europe in Rotterdam. However, after finally reaching the event, Kuma claimed he was unable to get inside because his ticket had been revoked without explanation.

Streamer claims TwitchCon ticket was refunded before event

In a video filmed outside TwitchCon Europe 2026, Kuma said he received an email on the Thursday before the convention saying his ticket had been refunded.

“I got the email saying no ticket, you have no ticket,” he said in the clip, explaining that he contacted Twitch support after receiving the message.

According to Kuma, support told him to speak to the event helpdesk, but when he arrived, the helpdesk allegedly told him he needed to go back through support. He claimed Twitch support had not responded again by the time he posted the video.

“To Twitch and Twitch Support. I was denied entry to TwitchCon and was never given a reason,” he wrote on X. “After walking to TwitchCon Europe live for the 3rd time, spending over $10k and walking 550 km, my ticket was revoked the day before with zero explanation.”

Kuma added that nobody from Twitch met with him at the IRL takeover, despite him putting “Road to TwitchCon” in his stream title.

“I am disheartened with Twitch and extremely let down,” he continued. “Please, I am just asking for some clarity here.”
