Here’s when to expect the end of service on the servers for the delisted Nintendo Switch Cloud Versions of the Kingdom Hearts games.

Nintendo has delisted its Switch Cloud Versions of multiple classic Kingdom Hearts games, and intends to bring the servers to a close. That will be the point at which these games become unplayable considering the servers host the full games so the Switch doesn’t have to hold them directly. When do Kingdom Hearts Nintendo Switch Cloud Version servers shut down?

The Kingdom Hearts Nintendo Switch Cloud Version servers will shut down on June 9, 2027, specifically at 14:59 UTC (6:59 a.m. PT / 9:59 a.m. ET). The following games will be affected by the shutdown, as shared by Square Enix’s Support web pages:

  • Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMix Cloud Version
  • Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Cloud Version
  • Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind (DLC) Cloud Version
  • Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece Cloud Version

While the Cloud Versions will become unplayable after the June 9, 2027 date, a digital collection of the games were also announced for Nintendo Switch 2 alongside new details for Kingdom Hearts 4. The collection’s launch in October 2026 will include a digital version of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMix for the original Nintendo Switch.
