In Worldwide Rush, players may need to change the name of a route for better organization or customization. This can be done through two main methods: from the vehicle screen or from the route screen. Below is a step-by-step guide explaining both processes in detail.

Renaming a Route from the Vehicle Screen

1. Access the Vehicle Screen
   • Select the vehicle whose route name you wish to edit.
   • Open the vehicle screen.
   • Click the button located to the right of the “Edit Route” option.

2. Open the Route Screen
   • On the route screen, press the third button from the right.

3. Enter the New Route Name
   • Type the desired name into the text box.
   • Important: If you are using an IME (Input Method Editor), do not press the Enter key at any time, as this may cause issues.

Renaming a Route from the Route Screen

1. Access the Route Screen
   • Open the route screen by pressing the button located to the left of the balance in the upper-left corner of the UI.

2. Locate the Desired Route
   • A complete list of routes will be displayed.
   • Find the route you wish to rename from this list.
   • You may filter routes by typing part of the city name or route name in the search bar at the top.
   • Note: As of 23 August 2025, there is a known bug where using the search function can accidentally trigger another shortcut key. For this reason, it is not recommended to use the search feature.

3. Open the Route Rename Option
   • Press the third button from the right on the route screen.

4. Enter the New Route Name
   • Type your preferred route name into the text box.
   • Warning: If you are using an IME, avoid pressing the Enter key to prevent unintended behavior.
