Hatsune Miku is getting her own custom Yamaha piano that fans will be able to play in public places, and it looks absolutely incredible.
Whether it’s rocking out to your fave tunes with Miku earbuds, catching fish with a Miku fishing rod, or soaking in a Miku bath (yes, it’s real), fans have plenty of ways to flex their love for the virtual anime girl.
However, Yamaha, the Japanese company whose iconic synthesizers inspired the idol’s original outfit, has now unveiled one of her most stunning 20th anniversary celebrations yet: a Miku-themed piano.
Hatsune Miku gets custom piano
Miku’s custom piano was created to celebrate her 20th anniversary and mark the 10th anniversary of Yamaha’s LovePiano project, which encourages more people to play piano in public spaces. And what better way to uncover any future Beethovens of the world than to have them play on a Miku piano?
As for the instrument’s design, the piano has been decked out in Miku’s signature teal, black, and hot pink colors. However, the standout feature is Miku herself, who appears along the side of the piano. You know, just in case you were in any doubt that this was a Miku collab.

This eye-catching instrument will make its debut on July 24, 2026, at the Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai 2026 concert in Hamamatsu, Japan. It will then make its way across the country, stopping at Osaka and Tokyo, where it will appear as a free street piano.
According to the press release, local governments, commercial facilities, and other organizations will be able to rent the piano starting this October. So, if you’re in Japan for business and happen to have some cash to spare, you could even give it a play yourself.
