Twitch streamer accuses HusKerrs of changing his own K tournament rules after losing match

Warzone creator zGhoul has accused HusKerrs of changing the rules of his own $50,000 tournament mid-event after a disputed stream-sniping reset.

The controversy began after zGhoul and his teammate Jayvela defeated Hisoka and HusKerrs in the tournament’s loser bracket. According to zGhoul, the rules at the start of the event stated that “no resets will be granted for stream sniping” and also recommended that players cover their screens and mute audio.

However, zGhoul claims that changed after HusKerrs and Hisoka lost their match. In a video posted to X, zGhoul said the rule was updated mid-tournament to allow resets in “extreme cases” involving stream snipers, including players entering the chat to taunt or communicate with participants.

The event was the $50,000 HusKerrs Howl, a Call of Duty: Warzone 2v2 tournament hosted by popular creator HusKerrs. The format appears to have been a kill-race style match, where each duo tries to outscore the other by earning more eliminations.

“I played $50K HusKerrs tournament with my mate Jayvela,” zGhoul wrote. “We won in the loser bracket vs Hisoka and HusKerrs. Husk decided to change the rules to fit his situation mid-tourney. They decided to reset the match after they lost.”

In screenshots shared after the video, zGhoul showed an exchange from HusKerrs’ Twitch chat where he asked if the original rule stated that no reset would be granted for stream sniping.

“That shouldn’t have been the wording from the beginning,” HusKerrs replied, according to the screenshot. “Blatant streamsniping is blatant streamsniping. im not getting scammed out of my own tourney due to that. you can do the same when you run a tourney.”

zGhoul then asked: “So you’re admitting that you changed the rules mid tourney.”

“Yes that is obvious,” HusKerrs replied.

Much of zGhoul’s video focused on whether there was enough evidence to prove stream sniping had actually taken place. He reviewed Hisoka’s VOD and argued that the accused player’s rotations could be explained normally, noting that Hisoka had previously died to the same team near Resort before encountering them again near Low Town.

The situation became more complicated after one of the accused players appeared in Hisoka’s chat. According to zGhoul, the player said he had been subscribed to Hisoka for 34 months and claimed he did not know Hisoka was playing in a tournament match.

“I’ve been subscribed to Hisoka for years fam,” one message shown in zGhoul’s video said.

The streamer argued that a longtime subscriber appearing in chat after running into a streamer does not automatically prove stream sniping, especially without clearer evidence.

“So what I’m saying is that, in my opinion, the reset was not fair,” zGhoul said. “Because you don’t have 100% proof that this guy or his team was stream sniping or not.”

He also stressed that he was not encouraging harassment toward anyone involved, saying: “I am not responsible for what people say and write; I am not insulting anyone, and I dissociate myself from those comments. I simply want to inform the community about what happened.”

zGhoul ended his video by questioning whether the same decision would have been made if the roles were reversed, asking viewers to imagine if he had requested a rule change after claiming he had been stream sniped.
