Popular streamer JiDion has announced he’ll be cutting ties with YouTuber Alex Rosen after his support of controversial creator ChudTheBuilder.

Dalton Eatherly, known as ChudTheBuilder, is currently in jail after being charged with attempted murder, employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon.

The streamer, who has made headlines for antagonizing black people, listed Eatherly’s bond at $1M.

YouTuber Alex Rosen offered to pay for Eatherly’s bond. However, Judge Goodman kept restrictions in place limiting each bonding company to $100,000, meaning Eatherly would likely need 10 bonding companies to cover the full $1 million bond.

Rosen’s support of Chud didn’t sit well with JiDion, with whom he has made predator-catching content, and the streamer voiced his displeasure, effectively deciding to distance himself from Rosen.

JiDion refuses to collab with Alex Rosen over ChudTheBuilder support

According to JiDion, Alex Rosen would not be appearing on his channel anymore, explaining to viewers that he may only see him at court hearings over the predator catching videos they made together.

“As far as new pred catches or him being on this channel, you guys will not see him anymore. Alex has made his decision. Alex was on Twitter talking about how he supports ChudTheBuilder, but then he did something a step beyond. He donated $10,000 to ChudTheBuilder’s bond so he can be back free on the street and I just cannot tolerate that,” JiDion said.

JiDion noted that he already knew some of Alex’s views before originally working with him, but decided to work with him due to his belief that people can “be better.”

The streamer explained that Alex’s commitment to pred-catching made him want to collab, and while the two were friends, his opinion on Chud went too far.

“That $10,000 could have went to catching predators or cancer charities or homeless charities. That’s $10,000 that could have gone to the betterment of society, but he sent it to the worst of society. Somebody who wanted a free get out of jail card to shoot a black person,” JiDion remarked.

The streamer shared audio from an X space where Rosen said he would prioritize ChudTheBuilder ahead of catching predators and feared that it would be a major distraction to “the mission.”

Meanwhile, Rosen isn’t the only creator trying to support ChudTheBuilder. CSGOEmpire owner Monarch also offered to put up $1M to bail him out, but so far, Eatherly has yet to post bond.
