The Pokemon Company/Casio

Pokemon is teaming up with Casio to release a 30th anniversary watch that comes inside a Poke Ball case, and it looks absolutely amazing.

Pokemon’s 30th anniversary celebrations are well underway, and the creature-collecting game is certainly celebrating in style. There are Red & Green-themed planes, a special airport collab, and even a new Trading Card Game set with a whole new card rarity.

While all of these are cool in their own right, sometimes you need a way to flex your love for all things Pokemon by showing off some limited-edition bling.

Enter the GA-110PKM-7AJR, a special Casio G-Shock watch model that packs in three decades’ worth of Pokemon history all into a stylish wristwatch.

According to the translated announcement, the anniversary model is based on Casio’s popular GA-110 and takes its color scheme from the original 1996 Game Boy releases of Red, Green, and Blue.

There’s even a little Poke Ball subdial that has a Pikachu-themed dial, with the electric-type mouse showing off its little behind and using its tail to tell the time (it’s truly adorable).

Casio has even managed to squeeze and squish in a whopping 30 Pokemon on the watch straps, with everyone from Torchic to Chikorita getting some love. The ancestor of all Pokemon and all-around cute little guy, Mew, rests atop the watch’s loop.

When you flip the watch over, you’ll see a special 30th anniversary Pikachu logo with the three and zero representing the Pokémon’s eclectic cheeks. That’s not all, as just like the Pokemon wedding rings that went viral back in May, the limited edition watch comes packaged in a Poke Ball case.

The inside of the Poke Ball also houses little prints of all 30 Pokemon starters, you know, just in case you were worried the collab didn’t pack in enough cute creatures.

While the Pokemon anniversary watch has yet to be listed on international retailers, we know that it currently retails at ¥33,000 (around $203 USD) and reservations in Japan start on July 1, ahead of its July 17 release.

This isn’t the only watch that has caught our attention this year, as back in May, Umamusume released horse-themed watches themed around some of its most popular horse girls.
