Fans of Ironmouse are celebrating online after the popular VTuber shared a major health update tied to her long-running battle with chronic illness.
Ironmouse often speaks openly about living with Common Variable Immunodeficiency, also known as CVID, a rare immune disorder that weakens the immune system and leaves patients vulnerable to recurring infections and other complications.
The condition, paired with one that affects her lungs, has left the VTuber bedridden for extended periods and forced her to spend years isolated at home while managing her health.
The streamer posted on X on May 25: “I can now walk 35 minutes on the treadmill,” with the post quickly going viral as thousands of fans and fellow creators flooded the replies with support.

Fans call Ironmouse health update “incredible”
The treadmill milestone sparked an emotional reaction from fans familiar with Ironmouse’s health journey, with many pointing out how significant the achievement is given her condition.
One reply read: “The fact she can walk for 35 minutes is amazing,” while another fan added: “Yay, Ironmouse is going places with those strong legs.”
Gaming company Razer also joined the reactions, simply replying: “THE GOAT.”

Other VTubers and creators shared messages congratulating Ironmouse on the progress, with many saying they were proud to see her continuing to improve after years of publicly documenting her health struggles online.
Despite her health struggles, Ironmouse has become one of the biggest VTubers in the world over the last few years.
In 2024, she briefly became the most-subscribed streamer in Twitch history after surpassing Kai Cenat during a record-breaking subathon, which also raised money for the Immune Deficiency Foundation.
