A 96-year-old influencer claims her retirement home threatened to evict her after she threw “rowdy” parties with other residents.
Lillian Droniak, better known online as Grandma Droniak, shared the warning in a viral Instagram and TikTok video, telling viewers that management had sent her a letter over her late-night gatherings.
“I’m getting kicked out of the nursing home,” she said in the clip shared with her many millions of followers. “I just got this letter. It says you’re getting kicked out if you don’t stop the parties.”

The letter, shown in the video, claimed there had been “many noise complaints” about her room and said parties were not allowed. It also warned that residents could not serve alcohol to others because of safety concerns.
The letter also claimed security footage showed people leaving Droniak’s room at 1 AM and warned that continued incidents could lead to visitor restrictions or a review of her residency.
Droniak, however, did not seem too worried about the warning and ripped the notice in half.
“I could do what I want. I pay $12,000 a month to live here,” she said. “I could party if I wanna.”
She then added: “My girlfriends are coming over tonight. We’re gonna drink and gossip. It’s not a party, but we do get rowdy. I can’t help it. I love to party.”

The clip quickly went viral online, with celebrities joining fans in backing Droniak’s right to keep partying.

Droniak has become a massive social media figure in recent years, with millions of followers across TikTok and Instagram thanks to her blunt humor, dating advice, and viral posts about life in her 90s.

Despite the warning, the situation appears to have cooled down. A representative for Droniak told People the issue has “been resolved with her nursing home,” with the facility allowing late visitors as long as she does not supply alcoholic drinks.
In a follow-up video, the grandma continued to brag about her parties, saying she was hungover from the previous night’s bash and that no nursing home could stop her from celebrating the last chapter of her life.
