Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury will still fight each other later this year, despite Dua Lipa not being available to perform at the event.
The two heavyweights are set to meet in the ring for the first time after years of speculation and planned fights falling through.
Earlier, it was reported that boxing promoter Turki Alalshikh wanted Dua Lipa to perform at the fight otherwise he wasn’t going to let the event go ahead.
Dua Lipa won’t stop Joshua vs Fury fight
According to Joshua’s manager Eddie Hearn, however, that’s not the case at all and boxing fans can rest easy knowing the hotly-anticipated clash will not be stopped on the basis of Dua Lipa’s schedule.
Speaking via BBC Sport, Hearn said: “Do you know, I actually had some respected journalists phoning me up asking if the fight was still on because Dua Lipa wasn’t performing. I don’t even know where this story came from in the first place.
“It just shows you the internet is full of absolute rubbish. Someone said, ‘Just checking the fight is still on? Dua Lipa said she’s not available.’ I’m like, ‘The fight is still on. Don’t worry.'”

Hearn played up the impending bout, insisting it will live up to the hype, adding: “Let me sit ringside and watch the moment that everybody gets to the ring. Anthony Joshua in one corner, Tyson Fury in the other, and the referee says, “Seconds out, round one,” and the whole world roars.
